Amy Khoshbin is interested in exploring dialogues between the body, technology, and the physical environment. Through developing wearable and modular performance technologies for her shows, she is exploring performance languages and meaning creation. She is currently a graduate candidate at NYU’s ITP program.
Previous to this, she worked freelance as a video editor and sound designer on projects ranging from video art to commercials to documentary film. She also taught youth as a media educator for a number of organizations including The Bronx Museum of Art and Global Action Project. She currently performs around NYC as half of And Um Yeah, her musical duo with Michael Clemow, as well as VJing under the name tinyscissors.
