Opposite of a weapon COLORING BOOK

As part of the Project for Empty Space Summer Story Lab, I collaborated with Palestinian-American poet Naomi Shihab Nye, to create an original editioned coloring book from my “What is the opposite of a weapon” drawing series. I ask this question to people at gun shows and across the country and their answers have manifested in a series of drawings we transformed into a book to push young people’s minds towards nonviolent ideas, which is reinforced by Naomi’s resistance poetry.
