Performance Series started at Crystal Bridges and The Momentary as part of an Artist-In-Residence program.

Led by Amy Rose Khoshbin, this 90-minute nervous system reset invites participants into a lush, sensorial ritual using flowers, organic materials, and group movement to embody acts of renewal. Through a collective rebirth ceremony, we transform our bodies into living altars to agency and release. Each performance transforms queer forms of touch–sensual, playful, resistant—into strategies for reclaiming presence and rebuilding trust in our capacity to act. While rooted in queer intimacy, the work is designed for wide publics, creating spaces where all people can connect through touch as a source of resilience. The body becomes a site where power is shared and political agency is felt—urgently needed in a time when queer and marginalized communities are under attack in the U.S. This workshop also supports local street vendors through vendor buyouts- an anti-ICE strategy that pays vendors more so they can work less.
