Showed at Luxembourg City Film Festival through Casino Luxembourg, and at Project for Empty Space in my 2019 solo exhibition GHOSTS..

Hellcome to Synergy! is a satirical corporate onboarding video. Hellcome takes its form from the contemporary company welcome video to examine how team-building language mirrors cult language, creating a false sense of camaraderie, self-expression, and ownership in a hierarchical system. I perform as all of the characters, each an office archetype - the vixen, immigrant (my father), tech bro, middle manager, etc- ultimately sacrificing themselves for the personhood of the corporate entity and his manifestation as a ghoulish CEO. Mirroring modern corporate hierarchy, the labor of the Synergy employees works towards the wealth of the top 0.1%, and no one is spared in his insatiable quest for more. Hellcome was screened in an installation of the Synergy headquarters as part of my solo exhibition entitled GHOSTS at Project for Empty Space, the last show in their space due to a corporate real-estate buyout.
